The CLEP exam lets you earn college credit for things you've learned outside the classroom - work experience, military service, or even independent study. This can save you a ton of time and money on your college degree! CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States, with more than 30 exams.

Ready to Get Started?

Taking the CLEP test is easy! Here's how:

  1. Choose your test location: Contact your preferred Â鶹ŮÀÉ campus (Green Bay, Marinette, or Sturgeon Bay) to schedule your exam date and time.
  2. Register online:  to purchase your CLEP exam and download your voucher. Use Â鶹ŮÀÉ's School Code: 
    • Green Bay: 04190
    • Marinette: 8839
    • Sturgeon Bay: 8837
  3. Bring what you need: On test day, bring a valid ID, your CLEP voucher, and (if you're not a currently enrolled Â鶹ŮÀÉ student) the proctor fee.

How Much will the Test Cost?

There are two fees to consider:

  • The College Board Exam Fee: You'll pay this fee online when you register for your CLEP exam on the College Board's website. The exact amount changes, so .
  • The Â鶹ŮÀÉ Test Center Fee: This covers proctoring (or administering) the test at our centers. It's free for currently enrolled Â鶹ŮÀÉ students, but everyone else pays a $20 proctoring fee. You'll pay this fee on the day of your test.

What if I Need Accommodations?

Â鶹ŮÀÉ wants everyone to succeed on the CLEP exam! The College Board offers . If you think you might need one, like extended time or a reader, just let the Â鶹ŮÀÉ assessment center know when you schedule your test. Don't forget to bring any paperwork that proves you qualify for these accommodations on your test day.
